Projects

Simulation of multilevel inverter for induction motor drive in Electrical Engineering
Aug 2009 to May 2010

The objective of this B.Tech. final year project was to create staircase shaped AC voltageit using many DC voltage levels . It provides ripple free torque and less switching loss when fed to induction motor. Simulation is carried out to study improvement in its performance using MATLAB.

Image reconstruction from sparse projections in MRI in Signal processing
1st Jul 2012 to 30th Jun 2013

The objective of this M.E. final year project was the image reconstruction from sparse projections using the concept of compressed sensing and different sub-sampling strategy. We developed a sub-sampling pattern that exploits image nature better than random sampling using similar prior images. Simulation is done using MATLAB.
