Projects

Design and fabrication of non-contact fringing field capacitive sensor for liquid level measurement in Sensor and Transducer
12th Jul 2018 to 24th Dec 2018

Measure the liquid level of water, transformer oil, acetone by using fringing field capacitive sensor. Perform sensor electric field distribution by using ansys maxwell simulation studies.

Design and Fabrication of Nondestructive Capacitive Sensors for the Moisture Measurement in Chickpeas and Mustard Seeds in Food quality Monitoring
2nd Jan 2019 to 10th May 2019

Moisture in food grains, including chickpea and mustard seeds, plays a crucial role in their storage and processing, thus ensuring food quality. It helps in the improvement of preservation techniques. Presented work describes a nondestructive concentric fringing field (CFF) capacitive sensor to detect moisture (4–33% by absolute weight) of chickpea grain and (12–30% by absolute weight) mustard seed.
